The men's retreat in the Algarve is led by Alex Wirthl and Pedro Colllares, and takes you on an intense journey back to yourself.
The Intention of the Retreat is to forget to be able to remember.

I'm Alex, and I'm thrilled to be one of your guides at the Men's Intensive!
Like you, I am a man who is committed to becoming a better man every single day. I may not always succeed, but I never give up!
My journey began when my father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving behind a mountain of debt. Shortly after, my partner also left me.
These three events presented me with an incredible opportunity for growth and transformation. I was thrust into a period of introspection and self-discovery, and I was able to recognize that I had the power to choose how I wanted to live my life.
Luckily, a short time later, meditation was introduced to me by chance, and I was shown the path within!
At that time, I was always only on the outside, looking for fun, distraction, quick satisfaction, and superficial gratification.
This path to the inside taught me that there is so much more to life than just the outside world!
It also taught me that if I change my inner attitude, my perception of the outside world will automatically change as well.
Let's go down this path together!
The world needs us, because if we are at peace with ourselves, we can also share this peace with the outside world!
I’m Pedro, my journey on this path of working with men and enquiring what means to be a man started inspired by some meaningful women that crossed my path and would frequently gather in women circles.
So, me and a good friend decided to start our own men’s circle.
There we’ve learned the power of trusting the brotherhood by mirroring each other, understanding that we are on the same boat, that together we can evolve and grow.
I’m a father of 2 children to which I now dedicate most of my time, presence and service.
Sound and music have always been a way for me to connect to the present moment.
I’m passionate by its healing properties and the power of sacred ancient chants.
The thriver to dive into spirituality brought me to travel a lot to witness and learn ways to connect to the Great Mystery from few different cultures.
The encounter with plant medicine has been a turning point in my life.
They taught me that inside lays a deep truth, that I can trust it and be myself fully by following my heat and my intuition.
Walking in humbleness respecting Mother Nature and being grateful for the blessing of being alive.

The Intensive takes place at the beautiful Algarve Coast, in a national Park, close to Aljezur. Together with experienced facilitators, this men's retreat gives you the opportunity to go deep within and get to know yourself in a whole new level. The activities of the Men's Intensive are based on ancient wisdom and technology.
It's a remembrance of a state of being that is deeply impregnated in our soul.
